| KoopaScooper:
...may I ask exactly why is your user profile in C:\Users while you're running XP? This is strange, a GT 220 should run Blockland perfectly fine, perhaps try setting the profilepath elsewhere? (On the Blockland shortcut, add "-profilepath C:\" to the target, or a place where limited accounts can access) |
| Butler:
The file path is wrong. The user accounts should be in "Documents and Settings" (C:/Documents and Settings/username or C:/Documents and Settings/users/username, one of those I can't remember). If you moved it yourself for whatever reason, move it back. You weren't supposed to do that. Also.. Try starting it in windowed mode. Go to the Blockland directory, config > client > prefs.cs Open it with notepad and find the line that says " $pref::Video::fullScreen " and change the following value to zero. |

Thank you for responding Koopa and Butler. I am unsure why it is showing Win XP. He and I are both running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. When I installed Blockland, it put a Blockland directory in the documents folder as well as "C:\Program Files (x86)\Blockland\BlocklandLauncher.exe" The Blockland shortcut on my desktop leads to the C:\Program Files (x86) folder. I click on the short cut and it gives me the problem I originally described. If I open the blockland folder in the documents folder there is an exe file called Blockland.exe When I click on that exe file, it tells me that I need to use the BlocklandLauncher.exe which is in the x86 folder. I haven't moved anything or switched anything around. It is installed default. |
| KoopaScooper:
Are you perhaps running it in XP Mode? That could explain why it's saying that it's XP... |
| Butler:
Yeah, the launcher is required to start the game itself. That should be located in program files so that is correct. And the Blockland game directory is in documents so no problems there either. As for the problem discerning Windows XP from Windows 7, I have no answer for that. But pleas try what I stated above: --- Quote from: Butler on July 07, 2012, 12:00:13 AM ---Try starting it in windowed mode.
