The Philomena Cunk segments of screenwipe and other 'wipes' are a sort of satire.
The characater of Cunk is a thick, sort of philosophical interviewer who misunderstands most of what she discusses.
It's like a Sacha Baron Cohen character, such as Ali G or Borat.
