Alchemy works on the same Basis of Menen's Imagination Powers.
Soren cannot make something that he doesnt know about. (He doesn't know how the World's Best Gun is even built, how it functions, what it is made of. You need a Philosopher's Stone to transmute Mercury into matter.)
