Altiris:

I think BL should be stand alone, we just need better advertisments, maybe Badspot could offer money for a famous youtuber to make a video about it.

ShadowZero:

I know it would help Badspot with money and stuff but addons would be flooded with broken add-ons, off-topic would become an even bigger wreck and Drama would turn into something even more violent.RTB would probably die because of the steam workshop, people would suggest addon's from other steam games, and what would happen to the Launcher?Badspot worked hard on it just to have it be thrown away.
Allot of stuff would happen, overall the community would become a huge wreck.

Edit:I just realized wouldn't Badspot have to share some of the profits he gets from Blockland with steam?

Swollow:

but steam has such a large population of gamers that I'm sure it would make up for it in the long run

Greek2me:

A major issue with Steam is that once games are on Steam, they require you to be logged into Steam to run. What happens if the Steam servers go down or Steam goes out of business?

Also regarding steam, you guys would have to make it known people want it on steam. I'm not exactly sure about the best way to go about that though.

I'm afraid it comes down to blockland not being "indie" enough, or possibly due to their relationship with lego.

We're thinking of renaming blockland to "Crazy Twisted Interconnecting Blocks Game", or lowering the texture resolution, we're hoping one of these changes will gain blockland more critical acclaim.
