I'm just wondering why Conservative was like "NO!" and no one ever explained why...neither did anyone explain how to change those prefs.

Because they are all stupid
Only thing it does is letting launcher overwrite your files with its stuff, and then overwriting them again with your files!
WTF?
Use?
Why not making launcher unable to overwrite them in the first place?
Also doesn't work with all files and not at all on dedicated.
So go the fast and easy way:
Right-click file
Click 'Properties'
Check 'read-only'
Done!
Planr:
Just restart blockland if you plan to host again. I used to always have to do that when i had that crappy System_LoadAddOn mod, before I knew it was the problem.

kk lol I'll try this
Wait so I place Manty's Texture folder (not zip) in shapes and do the following steps to Manty's folder or the shapes folder?

Have fun wondering why you wont be able to start the game in the future. Badspot threatened to make the launcher stop working if people keep making files read-only.
