The BL issue probably can't be fixed, but the network issue can. I'm happy to point you in the direction of some good deals, but not if you're going to be stubborn. |

You may end up liking his enough to save yourself the trouble. From what I understand, the way the remote console works is by editing the Blockland executable. --- End quote --- Maybe, if he let's me install dropbox, run 2 mumble servers, provides a way for me to use remote console from my phone, and charges less than $12/mo. Until I get more details about his hosting service (which doesn't appear to exist yet), I'm going to skip the middleman and experiment with doing it myself. Logmein has some software that will let me remote desktop from my phone or any public computer that I plan on testing out. --- Quote from: Rub on July 11, 2012, 02:14:35 PM ---For your benefit, stdout from the Blockland console can easily be piped to a TCP connection using the Python Twisted framework. Obviously it can be done different ways, but Twisted allows effortless async com. Stdin is not so easy as BL uses some weird windows stuff, so a Torque TCP server to accept console commands then eval them is needed. I doubt you'd need any help, but if you need it, feel free to shoot me a PM. --- End quote --- Thanks. |
