Pandemic II is a game where you create your own disease. You can choose 3 different types of diseases, the Virus, which evolves the fastest, and has a bonus to infectivity. There is the Bacteria, which is pretty much neutral, other than having a bonus to drug resistance. Lastly, there is the Parasite, which has the slowest evolution, but is the least infected by the environment, and is the least visible. You can even name your disease! I named mine "Cooties EWWWWWW".
WHAT DO THESE FANCY TERMS LIKE "EVOLUTION" MEAN IN PANDEMIC 2?
Well, you get DNA points the more people you infect/kill. You can use these points to boost your disease's resistance to cold, hot, environment, and drugs. You can also use them to add how your disease gets spread around, like being spread airborne, waterborne, rodents, and insects. The last way you can distribute these points is buying new symptoms of your disease, like sneezing, dementia, hypersensitivity, depression, ataxia, hemorrhaging, kidney failure , and many more symptoms.
