My City RPG Coming soon

Gen. Hothauser:

So I've been doing some more work on my City RPG "mod", if you don't know what I mean by that, im using events, and I have recently added in such living conditions as hunger (events, not mod), Energy (food and sleep adds this), and Thirst.  Collecting resources, such as trees and ores, decrease your hunger, energy...quickly, but time also does this slowly.  Other client/player variables that I made that a person should remember are Money, Experience, Level (for education), Education (for jobs), Job, Home (the lot number you have), Resources (Log, Ore, Fish, Meat (Hunting) ), Demerits, Jail Time (Time in jail), Record (Your record).  I've decided for the first test of this, I will host it on a standard City RPG set up, in a boring looking, grid like city, just to test out the "mod" in general.

I do have a few questions for you guys to see what i should/should not add.

1) Due to this using events, and not a mod with special bricks, i cannot make drugs bricks.  Something i was think about doing was making a green house where people can come in and buy plots of land to grow stuff, such as drugs and other crops like corn...  Should I do this or just forget about trying?

2)I was also thinking about adding hygene as a living condition, should I.  Do you guys have any other suggestions forliving conditions?

3)Due to this using events, i don't have a fancy "/help list job" command, so i was thinking about making some newspaper stands and when the player clicks this, they can pick a jobs.  Should i do this, or make a building that contains the jobs?  Any other suggestions?

More will come soon.  There are a few questions here, so no poll.  Answer like this.
   1)Do it

like that.  Comment as well.

This is exactly what I was looking for, good post.

I will definitely use newspaper stands.  That just brings up even more questions.

No hygiene, it'll seem too awkward to try and incorporate it in.

In the future, when I move the City off a grid and add a landscape, I'll use farms to get the food, and make a farmer job.

Ok, thanks.

I had done a little work on farming a while back, plots of 8x8 with 16 1x1x5 bricks spaced out.  You click the plot to plant seeds, then when the plants are grown, you would run over the plants in a vehicle, preferably the combine harvester.  There were some glitches with it, such as it adding the variable for the Log resource instead of wheat, I don't know how.  Other than that occasional glitch, everything worked.
