ff1-5. classics, but to old school for even me to enjoy in their day.
i love ff 6-9, these were the way "turn based battle" (atb) RPGs were meant to be. perfect in every way.
10. they removed open world exploration and just had you travel linear zones from start to end of game. this kind of rpg should not be using atb... the reason why i absolutely hate this game. its wrong
11. mmo that shouldnt have been given a number, cant be judged against the others.
12. along with no more world exploration like 10, they at least stopped the atb, and now used "real time battle" made more sense. but i still disliked the game.
13. worst FF ever! as this is not an RPG by any definition. an embarassment to the franchise.

Oh God, is there reoccurring fees...? Or should I just check for myself?

yah its a monthly.
the game is still in beta. they fired the entire development team and put on the ffxi team to remake it.
so its in this cool limbo area right now where we play new content weekly. once the game goes live im sure it wont be as awesome lol
