Need Help with a Code Problem (AC:B)

So my friend gave me an Assassin's Creed Brotherhood code. But it's NOT for steam. I need to know WHERE i put the code in. The code goes in a layout like this: AAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA (not the actual code of course.(
but i have a REAL code and dont know where to enter it.
