Face needs help with audio.

Recently, my computer has been having an issue where the microphone turns on when a sound plays. This is getting annoying. What's more annoying is my microphone going on and never turning off when I plug my earbuds in. I've dsabled the microphone but it still happens.

You said your microphone automatically turned on. What's so bad about that? Most computers provide power to microphones and such almost as soon as they are turned on.

headphones? if so, unplug the microphone jack and you win.

well, there's no problem because if its playing back then tell me if that's the case.
