does ping even round down?

who is debating that its slow? any ping less then 50 is "fast"
this discussion is about zero ping not existing

data HAS to travel. and it does take time. just because it takes less then a second dosnt mean you have some kind of magic ping.
all you know is. its a ping greater then zero, and less then 1. incremental amount that computers dont gauge.

I totally agree.

if it was zero, then we need to hear the secrets of data teleportation.

Why is it that I can only get more than 4 milliseconds ping to things on my network, but he is capable of data travel accross the internet in less than 1 millisecond?
Ping is measured in time TO AND FROM, remember.

cuz hes lucky.
usually we are always unaware of the servers we must travel and pass through.
some people just got a sweet location.
people think its about distance, but its not that there are less lines to travel through, its that there are less data centers and servers to "switchtrack" on
