I have this fan somewhere but I can't imagine why anyone would want it especially when these JVS fans out there work better. Someone could even make one of a JVS household pull cord fans where you pull down the cord to turn on the fan.
Sounds like a better thing to do than revive a dead add-on.

the only issue there is that there are also fans that blow upward and to the side, and you can't pull a pullcord that's not even facing toward you
