Why git? Why not just use Dropbox? It's so much easier.
As in, sure i'll help. But why can't we just use dropbox?

no, see, git is a system designed for collaborative projects - not collaborative editing.
it merges files instead of overwrites them.
problem with dropbox: if i make a function that's super important

and adding onto that, git breaks it down line by line, instead of file by file
therefore helping to combat that problem.
