This is a remix of:

Seriously? This new one is over 500,000 notes of failure.

However, there's a very recent remix of this song:

which has over 280,000 notes of awesome melody!

Here it is:

Hope you agree with me! Post your thoughts of the new impossible MIDIs!

Yeah, there's an old saying:

Less is more.

I guess after you get above 300,000 notes, it sounds terrible.

I like how they're all touhou and whatnot.

I don't like the impossible midis, they're impossible to listen to AHAHUEUHEA
Edit: actually, they all don't sound right / good.

The last video you posted sounds terribly off.

The one with 500,000+ notes? Yeah, wrong notes, wrong chords.

I don't agree. It depends on the notes.

I like how there's dozens of songs attributed to John Stump as Death Waltz. As far as I know, there are no recordings of Death Waltz because it's intended as a humor piece that just can't really be played. It includes instructions like "release penguins," "remove valve," and "tilt your chair back on 2 legs," and unplayable pyramids of half notes and jumbles of notation on the actual sheet music.

You can read about it here: http://lostinthecloudblog.com/2010/03/13/john-stump-composer-of-faeries-aire-and-death-waltz/

You can watch some people attempt it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnKFnJF7w6g

Intersetingly the actual "performance" of Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz has less than 1000 views, while all of the the pieces mistakenly attributed to him have thousands.

EDIT: If you want to hear a good piece on a piano with notespam, you can try Circus Gallop. This piece is obviously not physically playable and actually had to be played by running two player pianos at the same time.
