"Go to that place the enemies are at, shoot some dudes and stop them from taking it away!
Also, they might have a few tanks and more than two dudes, so take some other guys with you and work as a team, okay?"
I wouldn't call it realistic or strategic, it's just a game with more variety than MW3 and the gameplay calls for teamwork as opposed to running around a map smaller than the maps in the first Call of Duty with a sniper rifle which is effective at ranges 20x greater than you will ever see because of the map boundaries just so you can kill some dudes

BF3
Call of Duty is fast paced but you can also get fast paced shooting time in BF3.
Also BF3 has larger maps and support for more players.
BF3 has a larger arsenal.
BF3 also has tanks, helicopters, jets and ground transportation.
BF3 has a larger variation in maps and gamemodes.
BF3 has more attachments.
BF3 has more ranks which are actually useful (unlike prestige in MW3) (What I mean is that I would rather have fun getting to level 100 Connell then get to level 80 10 times and be bored by getting the same things over and over)

Comparing both of these games are handicapped.
Saying there are less kids on bf3 is handicapped.
Saying bf3 is realistic is handicapped.
MW3 is stuff because it takes no skill it's just a poking fight. BF3 is stuff because the squad system is forgeted voice chat is complete loving stuff and when I was playing it it was Shot gun FRaAG ROUNDS YO.
Oh but i'd be willing to play COD in a LAN scene it's a forget ton of fun when all the players are right next to each other.
