If you're judging a game of it's BETA you deserve to go jump off a bridge.
Regardless of that, I also was in the BETA and I also got owned, but once released the campaign is a huge tutorial that helps you out. So that makes the inability to make a strategy to defeat the enemies completely to the handicap/skill of the player.

I don't like how the Sherman Firefly is marked as a TD. It doesn't make sense, because it's just a 17 pounder rotated 90 degrees in a Sherman's hull, so it has its MGs. It should be able to fight infantry.
On a positive thing, I think they should keep updating the game. Scout cars that are armed would be nice, as in kubelwagons and willys' with MGs. Infantry killing would be a lot easier (although they would have to balance it out, for instance the armed willys would not have recon, so you would need to buy two units > one to have recon)
