It's because they're a family-run company and not a conglomerate/franchise

It's sad that they're only on the west coast though, I moved away about a year ago and one of the biggest things I miss was the local In-n-out

They have the best fries and best chocolate shakes but I'm not a big fan of any of their actual main entrees. But man do they have good shakes and fries.
