since blockland's biggest strength is building, i imagine we'd need plenty of songs to keep the music fresh.

I've wrote several songs for Blockland that are Sim City like, progression songs that build up as they go, if you get what I mean. I have about 3 but I don't know if I'll release them, I need a midi keyboard so I can make them with LMMS or some other program.

I don't even see the point of music bricks. The usage is very specific. The best uses I've seen are loading ambient atmospheric oggs, and one time this guy used music from Portal when creating a Portal-styled challenge in Blockland which was neat.

Otherwise they just take up data. I would speculate that two thirds of all OGG loops ever made were pointless crap like meme songs or stolen pop music. Who really needs that for their builds? Wouldn't mind to see the back of that brick in v21.

not that its bad or anything but i prefer squideeys unofficial soundtrack (specifically 64x64) he made yonks ago, and i prefer no soundtrack at all over all else
i'd just mute it anyway

This, I think Squideey's music just fits the style of Blockland more.

I mean it's OKAY...but not fit for the full on game engine

But I do like it a lot and I encourage the ambient songs...very soothing ones and faced paced ones are great :D
