Well he's 11 so I doubt his parents will take him seriously and give him $1800. If they do, then they deserve the consequences that follow.

That's what worries me. He only gets interested in things once he sees that his friends have them. And once he wants it, he begs his parents. They give in most of the time, too. :u

I haven't primarily played a console since I got rid on my N64 when I was 9

Ever since my friend has seen my computer he's been wanting one. I told him that if he gets some money I'll build it, but honestly he would only listen to music and go on facebook with it.
