Leaving Default Mini Game

I'm hosting a default mini game.
My friend once told me that the host can leave the mini game and still have the people spawn where spawn points are.
I did it a few times before and it worked. This time its messed up. I have Include All Players Bricks and Use Spawn Bricks enabled, but its still not working.
Am I forgetting something?

Default Minigame only forces players to join the minigame. You're looking for Dedicated Minigame.
