Minecraft Problems

I usually play Minecraft when I am bored, but for some reason, after I have been playing it for jjust a few minutes, Java/Minecraft just freezes up, I can't do anything at all, I have to close my minecraft and this is getting really annoying because I didn't save. Please help.
Only mod I have enabled is Opti-Fine so I can get better FPS for it on my laptop :s
