It's not a rootkit guys, it’s an exploit in a browser extension. on that note it's not even Uplay (though it's bad), it's the browser extension. How to remove extension. Firefox: Tools – Add-ons – Plugins – Disable the Uplay and Uplay PC Hub plugins Chrome: Visit about:plugins and disable Opera: Settings – Preferences – Advanced – Downloads – Search “Uplay”, delete |

lol @ people overreacting have fun uninstalling your expensive games for no reason, im gonna go play some more assassin's creed II. edit: just started up ACII, and dissolve is indeed correct, uplay updated to 2.0.4, changelog says the browser plugin has been fixed and is now only able to open uplay. so panicked handicap OP should change the title |
