Disabling GUI

How do I disable GUI? Me and 2 of my friends are recording a Slender movie and we need to know how to disable GUI. I tried the Camera Controls add-on, it didn't work. Using togglefilmmode(); didn't work either.

Go in options and uncheck showHUD?
