The customization wasn't important. Most of it is just straight upgrading, which you had to do every time you got a new car. |

Things to improve I've noticed from my moderate playing time - When you crash, it looks cool and awesome because you're going into slow motion. A few seconds later you realize that you are no longer in slow motion and your car is completely stopped 10-20 yards past the crash site. I mean, seriously, what the forget. You go from 200mph+ to zero in less than a few car lengths, even if you just hit the corner of an obstacle (see next point) - The collision boxes are ridiculous and oversized. I mean, I try to scrape against a car moving in the opposite direction and it registers a hit like %50 of my front fender hit the other car. Note: I'm comparing these physics directly with the car physics in gta IV, which are a little closer to reality in most respects. There are tons of good things about this game, I just don't feel like listing them all. |
