because all christians are supposed to not respect gay rights.
any chrsitian that claims otherwise certainly dosnt belong to any of the main 50 sects. or is just a liar, or a half ass non practicing chrsitian that still enjoys claiming the religion.

that's not true. there are many christian churches that support gay marriage, as evidenced above. are you talking about that one leviticus line: "you shouldn't lie with a man as you do with a woman" or whatever? I have an explanation for that too.

it seems for every sect, there are very VERY few side churches that will accept gays hardely what i would call "many churches"
and even then aren't recognized by the sect's organization for it.

and leveticus is still legit teaching for all churches.
you christians cant pick and choose what they dont want to apply anymore just because its convenient (as proven by the sects themselves for supporting it)
jesus changed very few things when he came around. not one of which were the rules on homoloveuality.

i kinda agree with bisjac. i just follow the bible not try to change anything around to fit...

if you dont like the old testament, and the only thing in the new that you want are jesus' teaching themselves.
then you should be calling yourself a jesus'ist or something. (this would be a very positive thing if people did it)

by the very nature of being a "chrisitian" you are accepting that it is all an organized club whilst you know you are following the leadership of your specific sect.
christianity didnt come by chance and followers, it was specifically created with a higharchy of leadership and rules that go beyond the bible. you certainly cant pick and choose the parts you want lol
