--- Quote from: Azerath on August 06, 2012, 01:32:59 AM ---I only played this for a couple minutes, but I do like the atmosphere that it has. It could use a little bit more fog, I would say. The darkness that it has looks like it doesn't fade toward the player fast enough, if you know what I mean by that. It's plainly obvious where the player is meant to go which is nice, at least in the beginning. It suggests good level design. Once the actual scare came out, I didn't really go much further. Really, after the initial scare, I lost interest. It was kind of a joke, to be honest. I don't mean that to be rude, by the way. The thing about the monster here is that it isn't really mysterious or scary enough to be worth it. In something like Slendy, you are curious about Slender Man and it makes you want to keep playing a little bit. Maybe you'll find something out about him in the end. In this, once I saw it, I was like, "Really? So much for that." It DID scare me when it jumped up in my face and threw a loud sound at my ears, but when I saw it come out of nowhere just slowly floating, it worried me, but then it was just funny to look at. All in all, I think you have a pretty good approach going, but I would make the scare a little... scarier. It helps to have a story to base it on. It could all be a joke, but I still just want to my feedback. --- End quote --- Hey Azerath, welcome back. |

What kind of value did you use for RunStamina? Was it a Float or a Double or was it something else entirely? |
