Chat Box GUI (Literally)

setro2:

No, not the place where you type.
An actual GUI that takes all chats and organizes them into this gui that, of course, is on top of the screen.
Here's what it should have:

* A show/hide buton
* A button to mute a player; next to that player's chat
* Customizable Colors
* A chat bubble with an exclamation point that pops up when someone says your name when the gui is hidden
* Can someone please make this for me?
Also, please upload it to the add-ons section. I don't want me to be the only one with it, and I want you to have some fame.

'all chats'

what

ShadowZero:

I don't think this would work very well, and you just want the mute button because people keep saying bad stuff to you.

I mean why a gui in the first place?
Unless the gui is trasparent it would just take a huge rectangle on the top left corner of your window, taking away visibility from whatever your doing, I know it could be adjusted but, I just don't know how this could be made without taking up space while you have it open.

* A show/hide button Why? just use Page Up and Page Down.
* A button to mute a player; next to that player's chat Use the ignore script on RTB, works perfectly.
* Customizable Colors Not everybody wants rainbow colors going across their screen.
* A chat bubble with an exclamation point that pops up when someone says your name when the gui is hidden again, no need in show/hide... Just download that name notifier add-on somebody posted on the forums.

This is all to your own needs, Setro.

Plus so much effort for a script that would be useless for most.

Gen. Hothauser:

What about changing this a bit and making it a chat logger, that keeps all of the chat you ever experience, until you delete it, or until it reaches a specified time limit or lines of chat.  Could be keybound.
