I failed it once because I didn't notice the oncoming train and was plowed out of range by it, despite the obvious warning BS gave me...

I saw the landmine at exactly this point and managed to stop when I pulled the handbrake instead of spinning out at 0 driving skill and 40 mph. Lucky as hell.
