I know two simple fixes for Fallout 2. First go to your Fallout 2 shortcut on your desktop, create one if you haven't done so. 1.Go to properties, then compatibility. Check run as Admin, run compatibilty for windows 95 or xp, then choose run in 256 colors and 640 x 480. Now launch the game and while the screen is black and blank quickly right click then left click. Now your game should be fine. If the colors break again restart the game and right and left click again. 2.Should step 1 fail or isn't viable you will want to right click on your desktop -> screen resolution -> advanced settings -> monitor -> change True color(32 bit) to High color (16 bit) -> hit apply then accept the change -> play the game. Should this not work change it back to 32 bit and apply then change back again to 16 bit until the colors correct themselves. I hope this helps. |
