avp mod wont show up

Lego lad:

I downloaded the AVP mod from slimabobs topic in modification disscussion, but when i tried to enable it, it did not show up in my add ons, so i re downloaded it twice, but still no, and the wierd thing is, is that my friend downloaded it too, but his worked,...
am i doing somthing wrong? i downloaded it, and copied and pasted it into my addons folder, like any other addon.. oh by the way, im using a windows 7
