From Software released a statement shortly after the console release saying something like making a pc port of dark souls is nearly impossible.
From software has absolutely 0 experience with PC titles, this is their first time doing so and they only did it solely because the fans petitioned for it. When I heard about all the difficulties in porting it over and the exp level, I actually found the released PC version to be better than what I expected! I simply installed the internal rendering fix and the game looked absolutely wonderful! I think it's a good PC port considering the people who made it and how we are even lucky to have one in the first place.
