| How do you, personally, administrate a server? |

Don't help the helpless, they're not going to change on a whim for your server's expectations. Tough is enough, to my standards. They get punishment, not a blind eye or a slap on the wrist. Keep in mind that you're banning to keep the person out of the server, not to show them a lesson. I guess it depends on the severity; if they're purposely ruining fun, it's most likely going to be a permanent ban. Those who purposely do such a thing sure as hell deserve it. I'm just a little lighter against people who either don't know they're doing wrong, or don't understand. |

I try to help people if they seem actually confused. First I kick, then I ban for whatever I feel is appropriate, but I almost never hand out permanent bans. I have a few, but I'm going to clear them soon. |
