Author Topic: My Little Pony and opinions on it.  (Read 5194 times)

so you're saying what the MAJORITY of bronies are doing is somehow justified because you say so?
are you even loving reading what you're saying from a perspective?

I'm not saying that some/most of the thing that both sides do are justified. I'm just saying that neither should assume a position in telling the others what to do. Anti-bronies act if they are flawless, so do the bronies, but both are flawed.

I'm looking from a neutral perspective at the moment.

You also need to stop appearing like some richard who argues over anything he thinks is wrong, you make it look like it's your job. If you are trying to do that, maybe become a lawyer, they would appreciate someone like you.

I'm fine with bronies as long as they don't try to shove the fact that they are down your throat.

This is pretty much all I've ever seen from KoopaScooper.

I'm pretty sure KoopaScooper was one of Lord Tony's cronies when he was here, he probably thinks he has to take over the job of crusading against ponies, since Tony's banned.

nah becoming CISCO certified seems to be more my forte

us sharing views =/= me being his tool

personally I'm glad tony's gone, all he really does is spark drama

I'm a Brony, but I don't get how you can shove something in someone's face online.

IRL, you can take a pony and smash it into somebody's face and they can't ignore it.

Online, you can take a pony and try to smash it into somebody's face but they can ignore it.

Unless you mean you hate them so much that you can't even stand seeing them, but that seems a little silly for pictures of a cartoon and whatnot.

Personally, I think that Bronies just really like the show and want other people to be able to enjoy it too, but some people just get ticked off about it and may not even like it at all.

I think it's also like if you found a really cool game, so you want to recommend it to someone, but the game is so awesome that you have to share that awesomeness with everyone.

Our fanbase is also extremely dedicated, not to brag or anything, but we rose over $100,000 dollars for charity in our first year or two of existance, and apparently we're also buying an island, naming it Equestria and maybe even build some places from the show on it.

Yeah, it does seem really obsessive, but we love this show so much that we do things like this.

I also find it weird how much I like the show, I mean, it's my favorite show on TV, but it just seems kinda random for me to have a show based off of My Little Pony as my favorite one.

Still, it all boils down to the writing and stuff, which they do great at. The characters also have amazingly in-depth personalities, and you find yourself getting attached to them.

Oh god, I'm starting to get in-depth about stuff here, and I'm not sure many people here are going to like that.

Anyways, I respect everyone's opinion, even if they do go against mine.

So if someone hates us, I'm perfectly fine with that as there are all kinds of opinions out there, so there's going to be haters and whatnot. :)

Wow, Master Blaster. I used to think you were cool.
Hey man, it's just a quote I found, I still find MLP okay. You can still count me on.

I so agree with this topic. I think the Blockland Forums has gone downhill since MLP:FiM was introduced and the whole fad started. I'm not saying I hate the show, I for one like it. Everyone have been judging other people because they like/hate the show and they won't accept that people can have opinions. It doesn't matter if a boy watches the show, or a 19-year old, it is their choice to enjoy the show.

In regards to the OP: I am perfectly justified to hate or dislike someone based upon their interests. I can and will judge someone for the things that they willingly associate themselves with. I watch MLP sometimes, I think it's an okay show for what it is. I don't care that some people watch the show, and I don't hate them for watching the show. What I hate is bronies.

People who think that being a fan of the show is something to be proud of, or that they need to take pride in. People who would equate the hardships of a brony to being gay or black. People who special interestize a children's shown with research of the characters. People who feel the need to insert and original character into the show's universe. Stupid people. I can hate and am justified in hating people who fall under these and countless more categories, and I will also judge those who support these behaviors or tolerate them.

Bronies are alright most of the time, unless they overreact about the show.

I'm pretty sure a "brony" is just a male fan of MLP

Anyone who calls themselves a brony (or pegasister whatever) warrants my disdain.

Regulith is a big fan of MLP but we get along just fine because he doesn't care enough to want to call himself a brony. There's no need it. It's as idiotic as referring to yourself as a 'Trekkie' or, I don't even know a 'Stormtrooper' if you're a fan of Star Wars. It's just circle-jerking self-indulgent stuff.

It's just a decent show with a cult blowing it way out of proportion.

I mean honestly, why the forget would the forum thread have over 9000 pages in under two years?
Don't play the "It's a awesome show" card on me, there are threads of other decent shows that have peaked at like, 500 pages or so.

it took atleast 2 to 3 years for the MC thread to get to 5k pages.

MLP in under 2 years got 9k pages.
