having autojet on while your datablock doesn't have jets is a common cause for this

I have experienced this, but it's pretty rare so I'm not sure what the cause is.  My only thought is that it may be the jet trigger getting stuck on when the player does not have jetting ability (you have no air control while jetting).  I'll put in a check for that.

Oh, well scratch that (No pun intended), I'll keep looking.

The lights from bricks aren't working. As in they show but don't give off any light.

That is the case because, at least a few people know, typing jet(0); into the console will fix it.
