Addressed If shader compilation fails, game may crash on scene initialization - work around: disable shaders

I get the same error, but this happens when my shaders are disabled... and when they are enabled i get this error:

Repeated console spam of "LightManager::uninstallGLLights: no lights installed!" - Cause unknown, full console log or duplication case would be helpful

I will attach my console log if it helps.

Edit - I am using Windows 7

It seems No Lights Installed is a Mac Problem, and I have the log files from me loading a world:
basically there are NO shadows in the Mac version as far as I can tell (tested on two computers)

Checking for shader shadow support:
   - Enabled via $Shader::Enabled? YES
   - ARB_shader_objects present? YES
   - ARB_shading_language_100 present? YES
   - GLSL Language Version? 1.20
   - EXT_texture_array present? YES
   - EXT_texture3D present? NO
   - EXT_framebuffer_object present? YES
   - ARB_shadow? YES
   - ARB_texture_rg? YES
   o Shaders are INACTIVE
Skipping shader shadow initialization.

I placed a 64x64, a 4x4 brick, and then a 16x16 on top, and made the 16x16 transparent, and this happened.
Another picture.

When banned from a server, I'm able to rejoin and see chat messages for a brief seconds.

Aha, so my suspicions were correct.

This bug happened a very long time ago.

You have an intel graphics processor, it's the most common problem with v21
Actually, it's an NVidia GeForce GT 550M. I am installing some new drivers for it, though.

So do shaders not work on any Mac?

If you open and close the ingame server switching gui, the main menu hub appears whilst you are playing and cannot be closed unless you close bl entirely.

Note: stuffty graphix is from scaling down the image.

The more you know~

Add-on issue.

Press F10 then F10 again

Another problem I had was getting an OpenGL error in which it said that there was an invalid value. Upon this message, my BL froze and crashed.

I keep seeing these weird colored lines in the distance, on every single map.
When I move towards them they just move too.

That bug was there with interiors and terrain as well and was very apparent on maps such as pandan's raceway. It's just a weird thing interiors do.

This is not a Mac issue, plenty of Windows users, including myself, are having this problem. I think we've established it's mostly a problem with people using any parts made by Intel, but I am not 100% sure.
