Gamemode - Rising/Lowering Lava

This is a cool idea, if it's possible.(I think it is) Also if it's possible, a gamemode where the lava keeps going up and up and up on a tall build.

Though, anyone remember that flood mod?
The lava has to go uo in small steps like the flood.
Making it go up somewhat fluently might cause lag.
