Where do I put gamemodes?

Ive downloaded a gamemode.. and dont know where to put it..

do I put it in my addons folder or what?

Put it in add-ons folder and when starting a server you can select it.

It's just the same as any other add-on.
The only add-on that you don't put in just add-ons are music files.
They still go in add-ons, except they also go in music: C:\Users\Documents\Blockland\Add-Ons\Music\
ALL add-ons get put in add-ons!

Unneeded post.
The main problem is that people don't seem to get that gamemodes are add-ons.
