Why do people do this? I say one thing that they don't like and they blow up at me.

Not only does the update make the game look better, but think of the other way's it can be used. It can be great for film making and even greater for build's to have the effect they are designed for. I personally love the update. The real reason people didn't want it was because of the nostalgia factor of The Bedroom, Kitchen, etc. As Kompressor said, it's time to move on.
But don't get me wrong, I will miss the maps too.

The update blows maps out of the water. I don't know why so many people have been whining about the loss of maps in RTB chat all day.

I don't mind losing maps. But personally I would rather them over this many bugs in the update. I can't host a custom gamemode without having numerous bugs, and my computer can't run high shaders that great anyways. Besides, if they're going to update graphics, the least they could do is add anti-aliasing :c
