The men practice odd rituals at the local Seminary. They are seen kneeling down and praying over their weapons.

Palace servants are staring at the men, piqued by their odd rituals.  A curious slave girl, at the age of 6, approaches the men and asks what they are doing.

I didn't institute it.  We're currently a semi-divided kingdom where nobles fight amongst themselves.  Polytheistic beliefs.  Totally normal in the conditions I am in currently, as was 1st century Palestine at the time of Jesus.

Either way, I personally dislike it, but if you see where this is going, then you shouldn't complain too early.
