Also, I don't think it was your graphics card at all.  If you look at the picture in the OP, you can see light coming in from the slats in the window.  The whole room is covered in a shadow, and the orange light is just in an awkward place.

How do you even know that Badspot might be working on fixing this? He already said that there's barely anything he can do about it.

Somehow disable your Intel one, take it out altogether and/or download Nvidia drivers.
