that may be so but as for now his graphics card probably can't handle them

This is only for shader and shadow support.

Specs are much lower than this. Blockland will run on ANY existing computer that can run it. Shadows will require a pixel shader 2 card, of course. -- kompressor

I, and probably a lot of other people meet these requirements. It's a problem yet to be fixed.
