What kind of GPU should it have then?

Depends on a few things.
1) Your computer (is it a laptop or a desktop?)
2) Your budget ($25? $100?)
3) The compatibility of your computer (What kind of PCI slots are available?)

This is a decent GPU for any desktop with an open PCI-e x16 slot. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130609

Mr Man:

I plan on getting a laptop because I intend on using it for things other than gaming, and my highest price would be about $700 or $800.
