Minecraft is scary O_o

So, me and my girlfriend were playing minecraft survival. Difficulty was hard (im pretty good so i like a little challenge). We found an abandoned mineshaft. I went to a dead end, placed down a furnace, a chest and a crafting bench. Also built a wall, with a wooden door, so now it was a little room. I started hearing zombie sounds, but i ignored them. I noticed some iron at the back of the room and began mining it. Zombie sounds got closer and i looked out of the door. Me and my GF were talking about stuff and the noises were really close. Then they stopped. We went quiet and started listening....I was just about to say something when:
BANGBANGBANG! The zombie started hitting the door. My GF screamed and i almost fell off my chair (i had my volume pretty high). We managed to kill the zombie, but still it was really scary. After that, we got scared by at least 3 more sneaky creepers. You guys might be thinking: what a wuss. You're right. And my GF gets scared easily so...
