You are on the internet... Its super easy to get someones IP. Once they know your IP, they know where you live. He isn't hacking or anything, when you host a server you're basicly giving your IP to everyone. He can't doing anythin with it, he just wanted to scare you, he succeeded.

You probably joined his server, that's how he got your IP. He probably used a whois service to find out where you live. And your ISP. And a bunch of other stuff. If he DDoSes you or anything, just contact your ISP.
