Author Topic: Comparing forced AA to not forced AA  (Read 2161 times)

Hello, I took some screenshots comparing how forced AA x8 looks compared to no AA, done through catalyst control center.

(I apologise for the change in lighting here, I hope it's not too much of a difference.)

If you want to see the full size images, right click them and press 'open image in a new tab' if you are on Chrome, if you are on Firefox, click 'view image'.

I hope these show a good comparison and thanks for reading/looking.

I don't understand why imgur changed their formats, they all were .png's

I'm pretty sure imgur also scales down your images if they are too large or have been hosted for too long.

You know whats better?
x32 CSAA
runs like a charm

I can see the differences very clearly, those round edges look so much nicer. I'm glad that I put these settings on the nvidia control panel now :D

it dosnt have to be native for any 3d game.

you can force 50 different settings at any levels you want regardless of what settings the game itself has.

How2do
for morons like me

wow looks way better with Anti-Aliasing

I like no AA because it's easier for picture editing.

Indeed but OP claims he did "not forced AA". How? Blockland has no AA natively.

I think that is unbenounced to him. (He doesn't know that so hush)

And if you look at the images you see "no forced AA", as in "no AA was forced" and thus none was used
