When I plant a JVS brick, it has no events and is just a solid brick

Seems to be a problem with JVS itself. Wait for an update to fix the last update.

Bad spot made a supposed fix, but I haven't tried it. You give it a go.

I got the update earlier through RTB, but it didn't work then. But with your link it works now. Strange.
