3D ones suck ass.

In 3D it's near impossible to aim anything, and the controls for every single 3D version seem to vary in some way or another. In 2D it's much nicer, and more fun.
Extrude:
The 2d versions are only fun on tablets. On the PC it's all weird use WASD to fire.
