that's why i got the numbers on the end of my name removed less than two months ago!
although i suppose that's not exactly a name change, more of a number amputation

That was a completely different case.
He didn't get a poll. He just got his name outright changed and the reason why was "I don't remember approving your account. I would've rejected it just by the name. I've now given you a new name and an avatar to go with it. You're now cooler than anyone on these forums."
