The only thing I see different is the option in "Settings" with an "interface" tab, which I can't remember being there before.
Never got a copy for a 'friend' though, only the 75% off voucher thing.

Clearly everyone with Portal 2 got the portal 2 voucher, and that was a seperate thing. Oh well.
